Portland now has a Bacon Food Cart! The Bacon PDX Food Cart Opens at The Rose City Food Park – 52nd and Sandy!
Earlier today Dave Elkin raised the service window on the The Bacon PDX and with that May 14th, 2014 became the day that Portland got a Bacon Food Cart!
The Bacon PDX Food Cart sells bacon by the slice (Regular, Thick and Premium) as well as bacon centric delights like a Frittata Cup and a pulled pork and bacon sandwich. Both of these items are from Bacon PDX’s Day One Menu which you can see below.
In my experience brand new Food Carts often end up adjusting their menu once they have been open a month or so. Not matter what changes Dave might make to menu he is committed to featuring bacon centric dishes!
I was there today for Bacon PDX’s Day One and the bacon rocks! It is oven baked and it is sooo good! I will be back to eat my way throw his menu very soon!
The Bacon PDX Food Cart just opened so be sure to check their Facebook Page and Twitter feed to make sure that they are open when you wanting to head out and see this bacon beauty for yourself!
