Upcoming Food Cart Special Event Saturday July 21 – El Gallo Taqueria Third Anniversary Party!

This Saturday July 21st from Noon – 7:00 PM the El Gallo Taqueria Food Cart will be celebrating their third Anniversary with a party for all of us!

As part of this celebration, El Gallo will be have T-shirt Giveaways, Free chips and salsa for customers dining in the courtyard and Gift Certificate Giveaways as well as a few customer favorite menu specials. What are the food specials? That is a surprise, we have to show up to find out.

  

3 Years!

It is very impressive for a Food Cart to be celebrating their 3rd anniversary. To make it as a Food Cart you have be a great cook, you have to be a competent business person and you have to at least some skill in marketing. My hat is off to El Gallo Taqueria for this GR8 accomplishment!

El Gallo Taqueria is located at 48th and Woodstock in a small Food Cart Pod that features 2 other Great Portland Food Carts – Timber’s Doghouse PDX and Yolk. (See below for more info on these Food Carts)

Timber’s Doghouse PDX will be open on Saturday July 21st from 9 AM – 7 PM and they will have the following specials in honor of the special event taking place at their Food Cart Pod –

Breakfast Specials-

(Breakfast served from 9 AM – 7 PM Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st – Timber is kindly taking up the breakfast slack while Yolk is closed)

FIRE IN THE HOLE BOWL
Fried egg, black beans, onions, jalapenos, & pepperjack on top of potatoes or quinoa

ITALIAN STALLION
Baguette w/ otto’s house salami, fried egg, asiago, avocado

FRENCH TOAST SAMMY
Cinnamon vanilla french toasted stuffed with house honey chai cream cheese and fresh berries

HEARTBREAK HOTEL BOWL
Potatoes or quinoa topped with bacon fried egg, cheddar

Burger Special (Timber makes amazing burgers!)

On a final note – The Momentary Indiscretion Burger from Timber’s with Garlic & Truffle Oil Aioli is mind blowing.
